The Reeds(Amarillo) : I cut my teeth on the monolithic site specific sculpture designs of my father.This is a kinetic piece of his that we made in 1984 for the Harrington Cancer Clinic and set up in Texas.He taught me to weld when I was 8 years old (much to my mothers horror)and I just LIVED in his studio. Basically,he taught me everything I know...I did ALL the stainless welding on this project. It took us a year to build.

Steel Igloo : This piece was designed for a staging company,meant to be easily dismantled and erected with 12 simple bolts.If you go to the Techno Tribal Dance Party at the Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa you may see this piece supporting an altar space in the chill area.

Forged Stainless Pool Railing : Clorine fumes from the pool would rust and eat a mild steel rail in no time,so this environment called for stainless.The client was very taken with my forgings and requested hammer marks in the rail.This required two men to hold the 24ft piece  under the trip hammer,a very awkward and potentially dangerous process.

Lily Gate (bronze and stainless steel) : Designed specifically to keep the airdale in but let the cat come and go...The frame and flowering heads are in stainless and the leaves and stalks are in bronze.
